Sunny the Squirrel

Sunny the Squirrel lives at the top of the tallest acorn tree in all of Pennyville. You can spot her from almost anywhere in town — just look for the warm golden glow coming from her treetop window and the neat little chart tacked to the bark below.

Sunny is Pennyville's champion saver. Every morning, without fail, she tucks one acorn into her stash before the day begins. She doesn't wait for a big windfall. She doesn't save only when it's convenient. She saves every day, even when it's just one small acorn, because she knows what the others are still learning: small amounts, saved consistently, add up to something remarkable.

She's patient where Milo is impulsive. She's organized where others are scattered. She finds genuine joy in watching her stash grow — not because she's greedy, but because she loves the security and the possibility that a full savings account creates.

Sunny is Penny's most important teacher — not in a lecture-giving way, but in a show-don't-tell way. When Penny sees what Sunny has built one acorn at a time, she doesn't need an explanation. She just wants to start.
